1. Who we are
Zippy Kids ("we", "us") is an educational platform designed for children aged 8–14. We are committed to protecting the privacy and safety of our young users.
2. Information we collect
We collect: (a) account information — display name, email address, and age group; (b) learning data — mission progress, quiz scores, XP, and badges; (c) usage data — session duration and feature interactions. We do not collect real names, photos, phone numbers, or precise location data.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to: deliver personalised learning content based on age group; track progress and award achievements; send weekly progress reports to linked parent accounts; and improve the platform.
4. Children's privacy (COPPA / DPDP Act)
For users under 13, we require a parent or guardian email at registration. Parents may review, update, or request deletion of their child's data at any time by contacting us at privacy@cosmos.ai. We do not serve advertising to any users.
5. Data sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only with: cloud infrastructure providers (database, storage) under confidentiality agreements; and email service providers solely to send progress reports. We never share data with advertisers or data brokers.
6. Data retention
Account data is retained for as long as the account is active. You may request deletion at any time using the data export / delete feature in your profile, or by emailing privacy@cosmos.ai. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
7. Security
Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes. All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS. We do not store payment information (no payments are processed directly by Zippy Kids).
